saw some Video Online,I don’t know when or where it was recorded ,but my concern is the over growing Stewpidity of the tearers.
They should have done it behind close door ,but they decided to put Ring light and behave like senseless generation. The rational is what I can’t get ,no matter how it will be taught to me.
I know Nigeria is totally disgusting because of happenings both in insecurities, economy, tribal bigotry .
I know it frustrates you and we all know we can do better in making a better nation.
You have the right to denounce the citizenship,you have the right not to use the passport again ,but candid speaking you don’t have the right to tear it .
That little document is the property of Federal Republic,which they gave you to be managing as caretaker, also as form of identification as a citizen when you are on foreign travels ,if the nation repulse you so much ,the only way to show disdain is to return the passport to Immigration counter in Nigeria or the ones at foreign mission if you reside Outside Nigeria ,you don’t have the right to tear or burn it , it’s same way you cant burn or tear money.
You may say it’s your money that processed it ,but I can tell you that what you pay for is retainer ship not ownership which was why they used government machines to process , laminate and numbered it ,if not they would’ve allowed every man to print one which can’t be processed in unison.
As you tore the passport and burn same , it’s a slight on the Government,and you don’t pick and choose which of their property you disgrace or ruin,as they may decide that your Bank account shall be garnished because you denounce your citizenship,they may decide that any house or property you own in that Nigeria shall be confiscated,as you are not longer a citizen, including your village House.
You may never get any visa to enter Nigeria even when you secured another nationality Passport.
Some of those nut jobs still operate Nigerian bank account, meaning they have Naira that also belong to same Government,they should also tear the details of the Bank and also burn the Naira they have in Cash.
If you wanted to make power packed statement,it shouldn’t be in your house ,behind a camera while struggling with Passport which we don’t know if it’s yours or stolen from another person .
To make it authentic,you should have shown the Data page which carries your information, and then you proceed to tear it ,as it is ,we can’t tell whose passport you tore ,it might be the one you stole from innocent person .
Okwanu ,you return the passport to Immigration or embassy or foreign mission and denounce it .
I hate nonsense,even when we all want to force this nation to change ,but doing it the wrong way is a No No .
